Standard Reports - Employer



Below is a list of Standard Reports that you can generate to help you retrieve specific employee data stored in BerniePortal. These reports can be generated by subgroup and some have more specific parameters to help pinpoint the information you are trying to gather.

FAQ: How do I successfully generate a report?

 

 


 All Data Report


Useful for: A detailed report that includes most all employee information stored in BerniePortal.

 

All data reports include: employee demographic info, contact info, subgrouping assignment, pay period info, salary, onboarding details, PTO balances, benefit elections, beneficiary information, and deductions.

 


All data except beneficiaries 


Useful for: A detailed report that includes most all employee information stored in BerniePortal but does not include any information regarding employee beneficiaries.

 

Report includes: employee demographic info, contact info, subgrouping assignment, pay period info, salary, onboarding details, PTO balances, benefit elections, and deductions.

  

 

Personal info only


Useful for: Retrieving basic employee demographic and contact information as well as basic details about employees most recent election.

 

Report includes: most recent e-signature time stamp, employee demographic info, contact information, pay period info, job title, most recent election information and termination information.

  

 

Beneficiaries only


Useful for: Retrieving information on employee beneficiaries (if employee has elected a benefit that requires beneficiary assignment).

 

Report includes: Employee election information for benefits that require beneficiaries to be named, along with primary and secondary beneficiary information.

 

 

Most Recent Elections


Useful for: Reviewing employees most recent elections. 

 

Reports include: Employee deduction amounts, broken out by contribution buckets if applicable.


 

Employer Contribution


Useful for: Retrieving employee election information and showing the employer contributions.

 

Report includes: employee (and dependent) information, employer contributions by plan type, employer ancillary contribution for buckets if applicable.

 

 


Qualifying Events


Useful for: Pinpointing dates of qualifying events and termination dates for employees. Click on the date range and scroll by month to refine search.

 

Report includes: Employee information and qualifying event dates.

 


 

Termination Dates


Useful for: Pinpointing dates of qualifying events and termination dates for employees. Click on the date range and scroll by month to refine search.

 

Report includes: Employee information and qualifying event dates.

 


 

Eligibility


Useful for: Pulling employee eligibility status for a particular benefit. Report also requires a specific month to look for eligibility results.

 

Report includes: List of employees (and dependent) that are eligible for the chosen benefit type, names and social security numbers, benefit subgroup, plan name, and coverage tier.

 

  

Carrier Forms Report


Useful for: Downloading a package of current enrollee’s carrier forms.

 

Report Includes: All specified carrier forms of completed enrollment forms.

 

  

Election PDFs


Useful for: Retrieving all of the most recent employee election PDFs per benefit subgroup.

 

Report Includes: Employee’s most recent election PDF.

  

 

Billing


Useful for: Generating an employee-level detail of a given month’s bill specific to benefit provider.

 

Report includes: Employee personal info, billing subgroup information, employee plan details and plan cost, adjustments, and total monthly premium.

 

  

I-9 Forms


Useful for: Gathering all employee I-9 documents.

 

Report includes: Completed I-9 forms.




Onboarding


Useful for: Viewing employee answers to questions asked of them during their onboarding process.

 

Report includes: Basic Employee Info, Custom Onboarding questions and answers.

  

 

PTO


 Useful for: Pulling current employee PTO information.

 

Report includes: Employee PTO approvers, PTO amounts, used PTO, future scheduled PTO, remaining days, accrued balance, and time until PTO resets.

 

  

Time & Attendance


Useful for: Tracking employee’s clocked hours per workweek.

 

Report includes: Employee total clocked hours for each workweek.

 

  

Applicant Tracking


Useful for: Tracking number of applicants for each specific Job Post and viewing from what source the applicant applied.

 

Report includes: Applicants based on Job Post, applicant contact info, and the source (direct or via integration) from which the applicant applied to the post.

  

 

Payroll – Time & PTO


Useful for: Retrieving clocked hours and PTO needed to run payroll

 

Report includes: Employee total clocked hours, and hours broken up by regular vs. overtime, and used PTO hours.

 

  

COBRA – Remittance


*Only available if using AlpineTPA as COBRA administrator. Contact your broker about using AlpineTPA as your COBRA administrator.

 

Useful for: Month to month tracking employee payments received for COBRA benefits.

 

Report includes: Total payments received, COBRA admin fees, and remitted amount to Employer, for employees enrolled in COBRA plans.

  

COBRA  Paid Thru


*Only available if using AlpineTPA as COBRA administrator. Contact your broker about using AlpineTPA as your COBRA administrator.

 

Useful for: Keeping track of dates that employees have paid their COBRA benefit through.

 

Report includes: Paid thru dates for employees enrolled in COBRA plans.
